The dream I had was once so clear,

A world of color, devoid of fear,

But now it fades, as if it’s dying,

The colors bleed, as if they’re crying.

I chase the dream, to make it stay,

But it slips away, like mist at bay,

The edges blur, and the details fade,

Leaving me lost, in the memories made.

What once was solid, now is frail,

The dream I held, now starts to pale,

And as I grasp, to hold it tight,

It disappears, into the night.

But still I hold, the dream within,

And hope that one day, it’ll begin,

To grow again, and light the way,

So I can follow, without delay.

Until then, I’ll hold on tight,

To the fading dream, and the light,

For even in the darkest night,

A glimmer of hope, still shines bright.
