With trembling hands and a racing heart,

We face the spirit of fear, tearing us apart.

It whispers in our ear, sowing doubt and dread,

Filling us with worry, making us feel dead.

But the Lord is with me, I will not be afraid,

In the darkness, His light will never fade.

We can call upon His power, greater than our fear,

And cast out the spirit, let it disappear.

With a steady voice and a steadfast will,

We can banish the spirit, and feel our courage fill.

We must trust in ourselves, and in the power we possess,

And believe that we can overcome, and find success.

For fear is just an illusion, a trick of the mind,

It cannot control us, unless we give it the time.

So let us cast out the spirit, with a resounding cry,

And embrace the peace and strength, that will come nigh.

With every step forward, we leave fear behind,

And discover a new strength, of a different kind.

So let us be brave, and face each day with cheer,

For the Lord is with us, we will not be afraid here.
